Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, reliable It's hard to get too excited about something as simple as a speed sensor but I like this one much better than others I've tried. It is inconspicuous and has pair very easily with phone apps, bike computers and Zwift on a Mac. Not much more to ask fore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised I wanted something that was more accurate when the road was covered and something that picked up speed quicker than the GPS alone and this was it. Super easy setup!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid speed sensor Two things I like: Bluetooth Interface and clean mounting on the wheel hub. BT interface seems to read as well as ANT+. Look at cyclebikeapp dot com FAQs page for comparison. I've had other speed sensors bend wheel spokes and snap off. Could wish for better economy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ease of Use Great little sensor, connects easily every time. Easy to take on and off to move from one bike to another, no muss no fuss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reports RPM without problems Product wheel made easy to set it up with Ant+ or Bluetooth protocols as expected. Tools to upgrade firmware and check the condition of the product very easy to use. Overall recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I've had the chance to go out with the Speed Sensor for a couple of times. It's connected to my iPhone over Bluetooth. Everything is working great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I wanted to remove the clutter from my road bike and manage everything from a single display, an iPhone mounted on my handlebars. I updated all sensors with Wahoo products and couldn't be more pleased. The RPM and Speed sensors connect flawlessly with my iPhone every time. Same for the HR monitor. So, there's really nothing more to say about the sensors. The real awesomeness is in the app. Wahoo's Fitness Tracker is by far the best. The numbers are large and easy to read. Without squinting or looking at separate screens, I can see everything I need to get the max out of my ride. It would be nice to be able to load a Map My Ride-style route. It would also be great to access the data from a PC or Mac. Maybe there's a way to do these things that I haven't discovered yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and good I bought this to replace my garmin speed sensor of the same type- it had been acting up and several computers struggled to pick it up. The Wahoo speed sensor is easy to install, and hasn't done anything other than work how it should. Great sensor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well on Rollers Have not checked accuracy on the road, but for winter training it has been a great addition. Still will not update with Wahoo Utility (showing "failed to respond to test" or some such thing). For $40, its was well worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with Garmin Edge 810 I've been looking for a compact magnet less Bluetooth cadence sensor for my three bikes for a while. I bought two and should have purchased three. They synced up with the 810 seamlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate and convenient... Purchased primarily to track spin bike workouts on Cyclemeter. The shoe mounting clip allows the device to easily be used on different bikes. Matches cadence readings from spin bike's console, so appears to be accurate. Thanks for a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, unobtrusive I bought for my MTB, I like that it's inside the spokes on the hub and can't be knocked off a chain stay like the traditional magnet mounts, plus there's no magnet to fiddle with. I hope replacement bands will be available as inevitably the rubber straps will wear out, I'd rather replace mine once they look rough as opposed to finding out when the sensor drops off during a ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! Great device but would like to see expanded compatibility; DigiFit in particular.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Very easy to install on the bicycle. Very east to connect to phone app. Works well and seems accurate in comparing it to my bike computer as I am using the bike on rollers. Will buy a second one for my mountain bike for outdoor use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wahoo Speed + Sufferfest app = awesome I bought this to replace a power meter from another company that never really worked. With the Speed sensor the Sufferfest App can calculate my power from my speed. I know TrainerRoad app can do the same thing. I also use the Wahoo RPM for cadence and the Tickr X for HR. If you want to train with power, this set-up works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than GPS speed I've only used it twice, but it is much better than using gps for the speed. There's no lag as there is with gps. Superior also to the speed cadence sensor since you don't have the issue of aligning a spoke magnet with the sensor. My only quibble is that I ride a recumbent with 20" wheels and the mounting system doesn't fit on the hub. I had to remove the mounting hardware and duct tape the device onto the hub. Not very elegant, but it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product First of all I am a huge fan of all Wahoo products, so when I saw they released this I wanted to jump on it. It's super simple to pair with any ANT+ device and just works. I actually have mine mounted to my rear wheel on my mountain bike and it reaches my head unit just fine at the stem. The minimalist design is awesome and doesn't stick out at all. And blends in very well. The casing seems sturdy and the straps are tough enough to keep it in place. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice addition to the product line needed a ant/ble speed sensor, fits the bill well and seems to work well, the only nit is the size of the rubber attaching part of the sensor, too large on some hubs and very tight on others

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty darn accurate! Used for the first time today, also kept my Specialized Sport wireless computer on the bike and compared during a 15 mile ride. The differences in the numbers would only matter to the most elite cyclists and racers, in some cases only off by a few hundredths.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works perfectly. Wish it was a little smaller. Everything I have by Wahoo works perfectly. The Bolt computer and the speed and cadence sensors. This sensor paired instantly and the mount is pretty easy to use as long as you don't have wheels with too high of a spoke count. Maybe not easy enough to use to swap it back and forth between bikes every time I go riding, so I might buy some more of the speed sensors for other bikes. I just wish it was a little a less obvious, because it really kills the beautiful lines of my nice carbon wheels on my road bike. But nobody looks down on that because everyone knows what it is, so I guess it's okay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great speed sensor I have been using the speed sensor and Wahoo app for a few weeks now for mountain biking. I love the speed sensor. I broke two computers before purchasing this and it is much better. Gives accurate data that I can share with other apps (Strava). The only thing I can see that needs improvement is the app. It is not very intuitive, there is no way to save wheel circumference for different bikes (should be a basic feature).
Date published: 2018-06-18
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine, but mountadapter only fits with RB The mount adapter is only suitable for my racebike. My mountainbike's hub is to big for the rubber adapter. As workaround I use an additional rubber to prolong the rubber adapter

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works as a speed sensor not for zwift I bought this in hopes of using it with zwift. When it arrived it function properly as a speed sensor with my phone. However it does not function with zwift. Zwift wants it to be a cadence sensor and refuses to show it as a speed sensor. I ended up having to return mine but sort of wish I had not. It would have made a great replacement for my none smart speedometer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple to use, but mount could be more flexible I bought the RPM Speed and Cadence sensors together as a bundle. They work well, and were easy to pair with the ELEMNT. The particular bike couldn't use the BlueSC, as there was no place to mount it. My only quibble is that the supplied mount has a strap only long enough to mount on a regular front hub. If you have a dynamo front hub and have to mount it on the rear, you should order an RPM Cadence mount kit, which is more flexible. Ideally, Wahoo would ship the RPM Speed sensor with two lengths of rubber strap, covering both front and rear hub mounting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great but fit not great for trikes. The sensor itself works great. I have a trike and the front wheel hubs are not wide enough to mount the sensor. I mounted on the rear wheel but I have a geared hub on the rear and it is too big around to fit the rubber bands. I ended up putting the sensor in the holder backwards and using a plastic tie and the sticker for the cadence mount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as promised This did not work at first, it turns out the battery that it was shipped with was dead. Once I replaced it the unit worked fine. It does take some time to connect with the software, but I assume that is a SW issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from where is it? I'm using this to bike. Have attached it to my shoe. Extreme easy to use, put on your shoes and off you go. You forget it is there. Other bike? No problem, still on the shoe and keeps on working. Data is sent to a Garmin 1000 and Suunto ambit at the same time. I've compared it with a garmin sensor as well. In my view, the garmin seems to give a more stable number each time, the variation of the Wahoo seems to be bigger. Don't know which one is correct butt I do have the feeling that Wahoo seems to miss so now and than a stroke, hence the reason of fluctuating more. Otherwise, very easy to pair and nothing to do when you start a ride, besides putting on your shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No Fuss I loved the no magnet installation, perfect on awkward plus sized spacing and lefty mtbs, Bluetooth pairing went easy. Only fault is that after pauses in the ride, (regroup, or nature breaks) often get a large speed spike upon startup of riding, once recording 120km/h, which can skew the distance accuracy.
Date published: 2016-05-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than using GPS I got real time MPH. This is better than using GPS over the air. One small problem.. It really don't fit well on oversize hub. My front hub is Mavic CF oversize so I just put on rear hub which is smaller and fit better.
